Although it can also be used for fashion jackquard knitting, for straight knitting, it featurs cost performance far superiror to that of circular knitting amchines, while permitting knitting width to be set as desired, an advantage of the belt drive, besides minimizing waste of the origitnal fabric. It also usees four separate KNITRAN Systems in which the transfer cam and knit cam are set in the same position, rpoviding outstanding productivity when knnitting and when transferring. Compared to conventional 4-cam machine, carriage weight is 55% lighter and width is 24% narrower.  Its most outstanding features are an ideal belt drive that allows knitting width to be vaied a fabric take down uit equipped with a sub-roller that can be opened and closed by command; a full cover with special emphass on noise suppression, dustproofness and safety, and an operation data file. Model belt-driven operation The drive belt is reversely operated and has three operational functions, speed acceleration, uniform speed operation (longer is better) and speed braking. This belt driven operation maximizes efficiency by lengthening the periof of uniform speed. By significantly reducing carriage weight, Shima Salki has realized smoother operation with longer periods of uniform speed. Contributing to uniform and beautiful stitches The fabric take down roller is divided into Main and Sub rollers, and fine adjustment can be conducted through 3f categories of speed. The sub roller is located just under the neck over bit, and opening / closing is possible through program commands.
