For large knots, the machine stop automatically, for small knots the machine simpley slow down. When tthe carriage does slow down, the course speed can be manually set between 0 - 9.

In addition to incorporation of Shima Seiki original features such as high precision endless ball screw and motor-diven racking, the SFE series has an array of superior functions including a durable pneelde bed with an inset plate system, a motor driven take down roller, and a stitch presser which changes its position according to the knitting pattern.
